PAYE Check
Purpose of a PAYE check
You may need to do a PAYE check to find out some information which you are missing or if you are unsure about the accuracy of some information that you are using. This involves calling a tax office applicable to the client
Doing a PAYE check
To be able to do this you will need to call the right tax office to get this information. This can sometimes be found in the clients paper work or anything the tax office has sent the client. Otherwise you may need to call a tax office to find the correct one.
Calling the Tax Office
You may need to call multiple times to get through or you may be put on hold in a queue. You may have to keep trying. Once you get through you will need to pass security checks that the tax office will ask you, you will need the clients personal details which can be found in the client base.
Double click the client base shortcut or find it on the start menu.
Find the correct client in the database then bring up their information and press the personal button as shown below
You will now have the correct information to be able to pass the security checks. Also be prepared to provide information about Taxfile and your name.
If you require any information sent to you do not be hesitant to ask for them to fax the information to you.
